PonsRacing and his principal Sito Pons have been at the forefront of the World Championship for the last 28 years. During this period the team has won 31 Grand Prix in 250cc, 500cc and MotoGP categories and has scored 113 podium finishes.
In 2004, motorcycle legend Sito Pons moved into four-wheel motor sport with the creation of a new team, PONS Racing, to compete in the World Series.
The new team, run in parallel to the MotoGP team, which is also managed by Sito, wasted no time in hitting the headlines as it became the top team in the championship in terms of results, prestige and commercial return.
In its opening year, aided by its highly experienced technical staff, PONS Racing won the World Series Drivers championship with Heikki Kovalainen and the Team championship.
