Charouz Racing System team was established in 1985, focused on operating and servicing racing cars. It has provided development, operating, servicing, refitting and deliveries of components for many types of racing cars.
Already in the eighties, teamīs cars showed both speed and reliability and achieved very strong results in the European Touring Car Championship in the Division 1600, in which it ran Toyota Corolla. Around 1992, Charouz Racing System was authorized to build thirty racing cars for the cup series (Ford Fiesta, Ford Escort RS 2000 and Ford Puma).
Charouz Racing System team has got great experience alson in building, operating and servicing rally cars. Previously the team prepared Ford Sierra, Ford Escort Cosworth, Ford Focus WRC and Ford Escort Kit Car Evo II. Currently Charouz Racing System prepared highly competitive Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX.
Previously Charouz Racing System also prepared cars competing in European Hill Climb Races. Its car contested even in the legendary American race, Pikes Peak.
Charouz Racing System organized all of the Ford cup races in the Czech Republic. Thanks to high-quality servicing, Charouz Racing System was elected as the representative of Ford Motorsport in the Czech Republic and Eastern Europe.
Charouz Racing System also cooperated closely with M-Sport, the leading developer of Ford rally cars, which has operated World Rally Cars for the manufacturer Ford team in World Rally Championship.
